Pray for God's mercy and grace on candidates and the electorate as the 2008 election campaign continues and heats up, that all would discern His will and obey His leading.

Pray that God's people will not become discouraged or despairing in the face of difficult times, but that they will follow God's leading joyfully and be salt and light in a very dark world.
