- That although having children reduced likelihood of attaining affluence for married individuals, married individuals with children were still more likely to become affluent than individuals who were not married and did not have children both among the younger group, age 25 to 25, and the older group, ages 45 to 65. - That research shows that while children in stepfamilies see their biological fathers as “more controlling” than stepfathers, they still view their stepfathers unfavorably and their biological fathers as “warmer” and “more successful” than stepfathers?
